Annual inspection, flushing, and mowing around of all fire hydrant will resume March 1, 2024. Do not paint, decorate, landscape or place any obstructions within 3 feet of a fire hydrant.

The new Cheyenne/Zia tank was completed and went online July 8, 2023.

We are working with the EPA and the State of Arkansas regarding the revised Copper and Lead Program. We have sent out letters to all consumers asking for identification of your service lines. These agencies are now requiring all water utilities to keep an invetory of all service lines. You may notice a technician at the meter digging to document what type of water line is connected on both sides of the meter.

The new generator for Zia/Cheyenne pump station was delivered in late December 2023, installed and tested in January of 2024, and now ready if there is an electric outage.

Spring/summer of 2024 the state highway department will begin working to raise low water bridges on Iroquois Drive. We will be working with the state to move water lines, valves and pressure regulators. If you have any questions please call the office at 870-257-3508.
